The Institutes Committee consists of not less than five (5) members which includes the two (2) immediate past presidents of WACUBO, the Chair(s) of the Professional Development committee, and one or more members at-large appointed by the President. The Director(s) of the Institutes will serve as an Ad Hoc member of the Committee. The immediate past president will serve as Chair. The purpose of the Institutes Committee is to provide guidance and oversight for the management of WACUBO’s two professional development institutes. 

  • The Committee provides oversight of all Institutes. In this capacity, the Committee acts as both a resource for the institutes’ Director(s) and as evaluators for the programs.
  • The Committee reviews and evaluates the roles of the institutes and their effectiveness within the overall mission of WACUBO and NACUBO professional development programs. 

The Committee makes recommendations to the Finance committee and/or the WACUBO Board of Directors concerning: 

  • Institute budgets, including rates and sponsorships;
  • Sitechanges;
  • Directorappointments;
  • Honorarium;and
  • Any items connected to the institutes that require a change in Board policy.
