Dear Business Partner,

I have the pleasure of extending to you an invitation to participate in the 2012 Western Association of College and Business Officers (WACUBO) Annual Conference.

Next year’s meeting will be held from May 6 through May 9, 2012 in beautiful Denver, Colorado, The Mile High City.  Our venue is the Denver Marriott Tech Center Hotel, which features 25 meeting rooms and 45,000 square feet of well-appointed event and meeting space. The hotel is located in the heart of Denver’s Tech Center (DTC), but still within an easy drive of downtown Denver and the beautiful Rocky Mountains and all that both have to offer, including a thriving arts and culture world, with access to world-class museums, theaters, and restaurants.

Transportation to the Denver Marriott Tech Center Hotel is easily accessible from Denver International Airport (DIA) via shuttle or taxi cab.

In today’s economic environment, developments in all parts of higher education business are evolving ever more quickly, necessitating ongoing information sharing and the ability to stay close to customers.  By participating in WACUBO’s Information Exchange Program, you will develop contacts with college and university administrators who make and influence the business decisions on their campuses.  These campuses encompass the thirteen western most states in the U.S., Mexico and the western Canadian provinces.   In addition, the Information Exchange Program features a diverse mix of exhibitors and sponsors who represent the lion’s share of the higher education industry space.

Additionally, I am very pleased to inform you that members of The Association of College and University Policy Administrators (ACUPA) will be joining the 2012 WACUBO Denver Annual Conference.  ACUPA policy track and educational sessions will be concurrent with WACUBO and open to all WACUBO attendees.

You can expect to have an opportunity to meet more than 300 higher education administrators at every annual meeting.

I sincerely hope you will join us next year in Denver!  Please do not hesitate to e-mail me (dean.calvo@cgu.edu) or Amy Hernandez (amy.hernandez@cgu.edu) for additional information or if you have questions regarding our worthwhile program.

Sincerely,
Dean Calvo, Chair, Information Exchange Program
